TCCAA ANNOUNCES ALL-CONFERENCE TEAMS AND SPECIAL AWARDS

In recognition of their exceptional performances this season, four Roane State volleyball players have been selected for the All-Region Teams in the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association (TCCAA). Additionally, the TCCAA chose Roane State's Haley Ledford as the 2024 TCCAA Player of the Year.
The announcements were made as part of an end of season awards ceremony at the regional tournament hosted by Roane State on November 1 and 2. Roane State volleyball players recognized at the ceremony include:
Haley Ledford, Setter – First Team, MVP, and Player of the Year
Sophomore Haley Ledford led the conference in assists and came in second for service aces. In total, Ledford accumulated 753 assists, 59 service aces, 18 blocks, and 270 digs this season. Her performance on the court and leading the offense earned a well-deserved Most Valuable Player award and a spot on the First Team along with TCCAA Player of the Year.
Sophomore Haley Ledford led the conference in assists and came in second for service aces. In total, Ledford accumulated 753 assists, 59 service aces, 18 blocks, and 270 digs this season. Her performance on the court and leading the offense earned a well-deserved Most Valuable Player award and a spot on the First Team along with TCCAA Player of the Year.
Solene Roussel, Rightside Hitter – First Team
Sophomore Solene Roussel also received First Team as she was a consistently powerful hitter for Roane State. Solene was a key player for the Lady Raiders and ranked among the leaders in kills. Roussel collected 256 kills, 31 service aces, and 242 digs this season.

Frida Hoellger, Middle Blocker – Second Team
Sophomore Frida Hoellger was a dominant presence at the net all season, helping her team in blocking and attacking. Hoellger collected 183 kills keeping a .318 hitting percentage. She also had 44 solo blocks and 55 blocks. Frida was a great offensive weapon for Roane State, solidifying her Second Team.

Jaylynn Bullock, Libero – Second Team
Freshman Libero Jaylynn Bullock emerged as one of the top defenders in the conference. Bullock came to Roane State as a setter from Anderson County High School and took over the backrow court. Bullock overall collected 406 digs, 54 assists, and 26 aces for the season. Bullock placed among statistical leaders and averaged 4.8 digs per set.
