Roane State's Johno Pierce has been named the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association (TCCAA) Region 7 Baseball Player of the Week.

The sophomore shortstop put on an offensive clinic to start the season, hitting .647 with 6 RBIs and 10 stolen bases over the first six games of the season.

The Roane State Raiders posted a 6-0 record during that stretch.

Pierce notched 11 hits in 17 at bats, with one home run, one walk, and only one strikeout in those six games. The Raiders open a three game weekend series at Cleveland State Community College on February 14.
