RAIDERS LOOKING TO EXTEND WIN STREAK
The Roane State Men's Basketball team is hoping to extend a recent three-game winning streak to four and five games this week with away match-ups against Snead State and Wallace State.
The Raiders are coming off an impressive conference win with the 81-59 victory over Columbia State at home on Saturday, December 7. Columbia State is currently ranked top of conference, with the team's only loss coming at the hands of the Raiders.
Jahiem Berry led Roane State in points scored with 22, followed by Walter Campbell with 19 and Isaiah Nelson-Ododa with 18. Marcus Black also added 15 points to the team total.
Roane State is currently fourth in conference standings with a record of 4-2 in conference play and an 8-3 overall record. The men's team will finish out the year with two away games prior to the winter break.
Up first, the Raiders will travel to Snead State on Monday, December 9, with an 8pm ET tipoff. Two days later, the Raiders will take on Wallace State – Hanceville at 8:30pm ET on December 11.
Roane State will be back in action in January with seven games on the schedule, four of them at home, including two important conference matches with Cleveland State and Jackson State. View the full team schedule at roanestate.edu/mensbasketball.
