Charlie Isham brings a unique blend of professional expertise and a lifelong passion for sports to his role as assistant coach for the Roane State men’s golf team. A seasoned engineer with a 41-year career in consulting and executive leadership, Isham has demonstrated success in both professional and competitive environments.

His love for golf, cultivated since childhood, has deep roots in his hometown. A longtime friend of Head Coach Chris Griffin, Isham’s competitive spirit was further honed through basketball coaching experiences, including leading a team of former collegiate athletes and serving as an assistant coach at the junior high level.

Isham’s dedication to mentoring young athletes is evident in his enthusiasm for giving back to the sport that has brought him so much joy. His engineering background coupled with his coaching experience offer a valuable perspective to the golf program.
