MACTAVISH NAMED TCCAA SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Roane State's Emma MacTavish has been named the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association (TCCAA) Region 7 Softball Pitcher of the Week.

In two starts, the freshman struck out 13 and gave up one earned run.

MacTavish struck out eight of those 13 while she threw a complete game, two-hit shutout against Pensacola State. The Lady Raiders picked up their fourth win of the season, 1-0.

Through her four starts this season, MacTavish sports a 2.91 ERA with 22 strikeouts across 21 2/3 innings pitched.

She averages 7 KOs per game with a WHIP of 1.48 and has yet to surrender a home run. The 4-4 Lady Raiders return to action on February 14 against Northeast Mississippi Community College in the TigerFest Tournament at 6pm ET. Fans can stream the action from Northeast Mississippi here.
