Bio

I've been coaching fastpitch travel ball since 2005. From 2010 to 2022, I also served as an assistant coach at GCA High School and head coach for their middle school team. In 2022, I became a softball consultant for FBA High School, a role I held until 2024.

In 2017, I founded Team Tennessee Softball, a fastpitch softball organization with 10 teams based in Knoxville and surrounding areas. Two years later, I established Team Tennessee Softball's indoor training facility. In 2021, I became the head coach for the organization's 18u College Exposure Team. Over the past four years, I've helped 27 players achieve their goal of securing a roster spot on a college softball team.

I am a member of the NFCA.

I've been married to Jane Ellison, a pharmacist at Vaughn Pharmacy in Powell, TN, for 34 years. We have two daughters, Ashley (25) and Olivia (23).

This opportunity to coach alongside one of the best coaches in college softball is fantastic. I'm committed to helping elevate the Roane State Softball program to one of the nation's best. My extensive experience will be invaluable in recruiting the players needed to foster a championship culture. I will also work to develop our players into successful individuals both on and off the field.
