ROMER NAMED TCCAA WOMEN’S GOLF PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Roane State Lady Raider Sydney Romer collected TCCAA Region 7 Women's Golfer of the Week honors for the week of March 9, 2025.

Romer's performance in the Jefferson State Spring Invitational helped secure a 5th place finish for the Lady Raiders, who are ranked #6 nationally by the NJCCA.

The Farragut High School graduate is personally ranked #41 in the country, with an average score of 90.

This is her first Player of the Week recognition, and the second on the season for the Lady Raiders golf team.

Back in February, sophomore Georgia Cater became the school's first international student-athlete on the women's golf team to win the honor.

The Lady Raiders will be back on the golf course later this month as they compete in the Alice Lloyd College Spring Invitational beginning on March 22
