ROANE STATE VOLLEYBALL DOMINATES CLEVELAND STATE IN HOME MATCH
The Roane State Community College women's volleyball team secured a decisive 3-0 victory over Cleveland State in their home match on September 17. The Raiders showcased their offensive prowess and defensive tenacity throughout the contest, earning a well-deserved win.
Leading the charge for Roane State was Haly Ledford, who served an impressive 11 consecutive points to kickstart the match. The Raiders maintained their momentum throughout the game, winning the first three sets by scores of 25-8, 25-8, and 25-7.
Several key players contributed to Roane State's success. Frida Hoellger delivered a powerful performance with 9 kills and 3 blocks. Haley Ledford not only excelled on offense with 28 assists but also contributed defensively with 16 digs. Solene Roussel added 7 kills to the offensive effort.
The Raiders' dominance was evident in their ability to control the net, recording 8 total blocks as a team.
