LADY RAIDERS VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS BRYAN COLLEGE
Roane State women's volleyball capped off its week with a 3-0 sweep over Bryan College JV on Wednesday, October 16. The Lady Raiders refocused for this game after a loss at home on Tuesday, October 15, against Walters State.
The Lady Raiders won in three straight sets by scores of 25-12, 25-12, and 25-20.
Jaylynn Bullock led the defensive effort with 15 digs, while Solene Roussel and Haley Ledford contributed to the strong back row play with nine and 10 digs respectively.
Ledford paced the offense with 10 kills, 37 assists, and three aces. Kailyn Stevens also added to the total with 11 kills.
"Great teams are built on trust, perseverance, and the unwavering belief that together we can overcome any obstacle," Lady Raiders Head Coach Steve Dallman said. "Every setback is just a setup for a comeback, and we couldn't be prouder of how this team refuses to give up on each other."
The Lady Raiders will travel to Pellissippi State for their next match. That game is scheduled for October 22 at 6:30 p.m. ET.
