Bio

Mackenzie Shirley, from Maryville, TN, attended Union College in Barbourville, KY, from 2019 to 2022, where she played volleyball for three years. In 2023, Mackenzie attended Tusculum University and played a season of beach volleyball, during which the Pioneers won the SAC, becoming three-time champions. In the 2023-2024 season, she served as the Interim Coach for the Pioneers, finishing the season with a 21-12 record and another SAC championship win. Mackenzie graduated from Tusculum University with a bachelor's degree in sports science and a minor in psychology.

I am also very thankful for the Lord guiding me here in His time. I tend to reflect on the Bible verse Luke 18:27, with God all things are possible. I have witnessed this throughout my volleyball career and everyday life.
