Bio

In the summer of 1989, I served as an apprentice coach for the U.S. Women's Olympic Team. I worked as an assistant coach at the College of St. Francis and as the Director of the Divers Sports Center. I was the Head Coach at Southern Miss (Division I) and an assistant coach at the University of Louisville (Division I). I also held the position of Head Coach at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (Division I), where I had a setter named Setter of the Year at the conference twice.

At the University of Virginia-Wise (NAIA), I took the team to nationals in my second year, where we finished with a record of 26-17 and ranked 19th in the nation. I started the Roane State program, and in its second year, we achieved the title of Regular Season Champion, Region Champion, and District 10 Runner-Up, finishing 22-5 and ranked 21st in the nation. The team produced an MVP of the Region that year. In my final season, we started with a remarkable 15-0 record and were ranked in the top 20 nationally, but despite four starters suffering injuries, we finished as Region Runner-Up with a record of 21-7, ranking 36th in the nation.

Additionally, I have spent eleven years as the Head Coach at K2 VBC and have coached club volleyball for fifteen years, achieving over 400 victories. The AVCA recognized me with a plaque for my accomplishments and have received numerous academic team awards and All-American awards.

I attended Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota, for two years, earning 64 credits in Elementary Education. I also studied at Hamline University and the U.S. Sports Academy, where I earned 12 credits in Sports Management. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in International Marketing and Business Management from La Salle University in Chicago.
